Adversarial vs. Developmental PRESS
Up to now, its still a debate in our country about the kind of press we have.The Philippines is said to have an adversarial press. But because of the power of the press to influence and inform , the economic growth of our country collapses, number of journalists were killed and worst , the world thought the our country was a dangerous destination where in fact not! Of course we cannot avoid environmental accidents , but due to bad image created by the press, our country was left striving. Its stated in our history. We gain our freedom by rebelling in the government and in the dictatorship of other countries and sometimes by our own fellowmen.
