Free speech is effectively inalienable
In A matter of give and take, Tom Stoppard despairs for the inalienable right of free speech. I'm not so sanguine. There is an answer. I replied at Answers for Tom Stoppard. Since Norm Geras at Normblog first commented on Stoppard's essay in Four arguments about rights, I replied separately to him at In support of free speech.
