Mathletics is an educational group that uses mathematical skills to compete in competitions. While Saturday mornings are usually competition days, other weekdays after school are scheduled practice sessions. Each competition consists of three parts: an individual, a group and a relay.
During the individual competition each person answers ten questions in 45 minutes ranging in all different levels of difficulty. Next is the group competition. During this competition, two to three questions are answered by the entire group in five minutes. Last, is the relay competition. The relay is set up by placing the group in a row of five chairs. Each person must answer their question before passing to the next chair. Five minutes are allotted for this competition.
