Members of the Peer Leader group at RFA have been busy collecting donated prom dresses so that girls who would not able to attend due to financial reasons can now go feeling confident. The Rome community has been generous in sending dresses, jewelry, pocketbooks, wraps, and shoes. So far about 200 dresses have been donated and they are now being stored at RFA. You can send your dresses and prom apparel to RFA or Jet Cleaners in Rome who is also contributing by cleaning the dresses. This opportunity lets girls choose a dress of their liking. Items are free, although a small donation is welcome. Students needing a dress can sign up and make an appointment with Mrs. Cashion; dresses will be shown on Friday after school in room 1234. When asked about the reason behind this idea, Mrs. Cashion says, „everyone should be able to have a special night."
