Junior Anthony Dejean and senior Justin Torres each recorded second place finishes in the New York State Boys and Girls Track Championships at C-NS high school on Friday and Saturday. Dejean broke a new school record with his jump of 23 ft. 8in. in the long jump, and also finished 5th in the Federation on day two. Torres earned his second place finish with a throw of 55 ft. 7 3/4in. in the shot put and finished 6th in the Federation also.

For the girls, junior Kelly Benfey placed 4th in the state in the pole vault and senior Nicole Wasco earned a 5th place finish in the shot put. Congratulations to all!
