Senior Justin Torres and junior Anthony Dejean both have qualified to compete in this weekends New York State Outdoor Track Championships at C-NS high school. Torres won both the shot put with a throw of 52 ft. 10 in. and the discus at 150 ft. 4in. Dejean continued his stellar season by winning three events, the long jump, and 100 and 200 meters. He jumped 23 ft. 3/4 in. in the long jump, and recorded a time of 22.39 seconds in the 200. His 100 time of 10.78 seconds set a new school record. Congratulations and good luck at states to these two boys.
