This week, Mohawk Valley Voices hosts Dr. Todd Hutton, president of Utica College. Dr. Hutton arrived at UC in 1998, the 13th president of the college and the first selected by an independent Board of Trustees. Under Dr. Hutton's leadership, the college has adopted a long-range strategic plan, a campus master plan, and an integrated marketing plan; introduced 12 master's degrees and the College's first professional doctoral degree; added seven varsity athletic programs; constructed seven new facilities including residence halls and the Charles Gaetano Stadium; increased freshman enrollment by 50 percent and the overall student body by 27 percent while he≠s been active in community organizations.
