what a way to start your morning...
this morning, i found this wonderful entry in my bob the squirrel guestbook: You are a talentless cartoonist. Talentless. Have a look at Dilbert, or Foxtrot. Now compare and contrast. Do you spend *any* time at all thinking about your strip? I 'll wager not. Slapdash, witless and crude. How anybody can praise it is utterly beyond me. Please give it up. I know I speak for millions. the content doesn't irritate me. not everyone will dig what i do--- even though i AM pretty funny. what irritates me is the fact that he/she didn't bother to leave a name or an email address. utter coward. if you muster up the intestinal fortitude to type something into someone's guestbook or email a nastygram to someone from the comfort of your home or wherever, be a man or a woman about it and attach your name to your masterpiece. stand by your opinion, don't hide behind it.
