this one is the continuation of number 2. nothing deep with this... just the other end of the pencil... i'm not really sure if it is the SAME pencil as number 2....
with this one, i wanted to get into what the definition of beauty is. to me, cosmetic beauty is empty--- like one of those giant gumballs you can get in those machines at the grocery store exits. you put your money into it, in anticipation of biting into this big honkin' gumball... you hear that pavlovian-gumball-meets-littlemetaldoor- clinking sound, grab your masticative prize eager to bite into the sweetness---your teeth bear down, using every muscle in your jaw and....
empty.
that's what cosmetic beauty is to me. that's what it is in this painting.
pretty empty.
